Via dei Fori Imperiali is in the center of Rome, from Piazza Venezia to the Colosseum. Its course takes it over parts of the Forum of Trajan, Forum of Augustus and Forum of Nerva that mark the passage from republican age to the imperial one, in which every emperor had his own dedicated foro. They are visible on both sides of the road.
